INSPIRATION Sex Pistols' 'God Save The Queen" 1977… Libertine SS||2014

This year’s exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York ‘Punk: Chaos To Couture’ continues to be an inspiration for fashion designer’s collections, even if this theme has been explored quite a bit for FW 2013||14. The cover of  the Sex Pistols single album 'God Save the Queen" [left], released in 1977 and an anthem of the Punk subculture, has been chosen by Libertine's designer Johnson Hartig to become the main print motif of her collection for SS||2014 [right].
