'Le déjeuner sur l'herbe" was painted in 1963 by French impressionist  Édouard Manet and is exposed at the Musée d'Orsay in Paris [left]… while Pablo Picasso's interpretation of this painting was created in 1960 [right]. Actually this painting of Manet inspired Picasso to a cycle of 27 paintings and 140 drawings between 1949 and 1962.
