INSPIRATION David Bailey 1960... Miu Miu FW 2010//11

In 1960 David Bailey took this wonderful picture of model Maudie James [left]... that might have been an inspiration to Miuccia Prada's purple dress for the FW 2010/11 Miu Miu collection [right]. This is a great example how to get inspired by a mood without actually copying the design.
