The 60ties are known for being the space age era, inspired by space traveling and the following moon landing. In 1965 Richard Avedon shoot this beautiful picture of model Jean Shrimpton dressed as an astronaut for Harper's Bazaar [left], a picture that might have inspired Blumarine for this outfit for FW 2012//13 [right].
