INSPIRATION Vogue Paris 1966... Louis Vuitton SS||2013

The Louis Vuitton fashion show [right] has been one of the most amazing shows seen during PFW and one of the collections with many promising iconic looks for SS||2013, launching the second crucial pattern of the season: the 'Damier" or chess pattern [the nr. one pattern would be stripes of cause]. The inspiration for this season lies for sure also [see previous post on Prada] in the sixties, as we can see in this picture by Terence Donovan, taken for Vogue Paris in 1966 [left].
