Trimmings are becoming always more important in an overcrowded fashion offer, since they are a wonderful opportunity to create a very original and distinguish creative product. That was the case in one of the most interesting, technically speaking, work of Miuccia Prada for her FW 2007||8 collection. In that show she exhibited exciting material changes within the same fabric panels created through a specific weaving technique [left]... The same technique has been applied by Italian newcomer Gabriele Colangelo in his beautiful collection for FW 2013||14 [right].
