INSPIRATION Vogue US 1970.... Etro SS||2014

1970s FOLK FASHION: The Paisley pattern has been extremely popular in the seventies within the Bohemian chic and folk oriented fashion designers like Zandra Rhodes, who used it in infinite color combinations: a wonderful Natalie Wood photographed by Gianni Penati for the January issue of Vogue US in 1970 [left]. In the same way Rhodes in the seventies has made this Persian pattern hers, also the Italian label Etro has made it their trademark motif and proposes it very frequently since then, like for the next SS||2014.
