When I came across this wonderful picture from 1991 of supermodel Iman Mohamed Abdulmajid, here with her husband David Bowie, wearing an eye catching optical outfit [left].... it reminded me immediately of the collection of Balmain for SS||2014, where Olivier Rousteing has used the same dashing black and white Tartan|| Pied de Poule pattern combination [right].
