INTO THE SAME IDEA… Louis Vuitton and Chanel FW 2014||15
It appears that luxury leather goods have become so precious and high-priced that it is more than reasonable to keep a protection on while carrying them around. This seems to be this seasons message of the Parisian high end labels whose major revenues are based on handbags. At Louis Vuitton Nicolas Ghesquière debuted a wonderful silver Épi 'Petite-Malle" in its removable canvas cover [left], while Karl Lagerfeld presented the classic Chanel 2.55 in a Supermarket-style packaged plastic [right].
