Alber Elbaz might have been inspired by Geoffrey Beene [left, photographed by Guzman] to create beautiful leather accessories for his recent Lanvin collection [right]. But also it is possible that he has created them in the first place since Alber was working for Geoffrey Beene in New York between 1985 and 1992.
